Executive Director Frank E. Sanchez of The World Head of Family Sokeship Council is proud to announce the founding of the Institute of Applied Asian Studies Incorporated.

The Institute was chartered under the laws of the State of Delaware on January 4, 2001 as a Non Profit Educational Corporation.

The following is the public mission statement for the Institute:

"The Institute of Applied Asian Studies was founded to pursue advanced research of Asian arts and sciences as they are being applied in the western world.

The Institute shall primarily focus upon the application of martial arts methods and cultural influences of such arts."

The Institute shall be operated as a private educational division of the World Head of Family Sokeship Council under the direction of Dr. Ron Balas, a member of the WHFSC Council in Ohio.

It is anticipated that the Institute shall begin its first academic offerings in the Fall of 2001.
