INTERNATIONAL CIRCLE OF MASTERS
HONORS AND AWARDS CEREMONY
Canadian edition
| The International Circle of Masters which is based
in NJ. USA holds various awards ceremonies throughout the world. As travelling
became quite difficult for individuals from other Countries, the C.O.M. felt it more
beneficial for members in various Countries to hold separate ceremonies. For Canada this was held at the Personal Studio of Grandmaster Daniel
Verkerke in Cambridge, Ontario Canada.
NOTE: There is only one person to receive an honor award for each
category. The C.O.M. registers each award for the year.
We have provided a pictorial coverage below. |

Grandmaster Dr. Dan R. Mc Eaddy
Founder Angelic Ninjutsu
----------------------------------------------------------
| Seicho Jutsu Black Belts were treated to an
excellent nights training under Grandmaster Dan R. Mc Eaddy. After the class ended
the Black Belt students remained for an evening of discussions on various topics
concerning training in the Angelic system. It is usually
only once or twice a year that the Canadian Black Belts have a chance to train with GM. Mc
Eaddy. Needles to say, they all take full advantage whenever the Grandmaster visits
Canada.
All the students in attendance are personal students of GM.

CIRCLE OF MASTERS - MY EXPERIENCES:
- by Lanore Woodruff
I felt honored that Grand Master Triplett invited his students of all levels to the Circle
of Masters gathering this past month. I understand that usually only Masters attend these
events, but Grand Master Triplett made a decisions to include his students which truly
enhanced the feeling of the Academy being a family.
Personally, I was impressed and inspired by the demonstration that was delivered by the
higher ranked students. It gave me a taste of what I can look forward to in my training,
and showed me the talents of fellow students.
The speeches made by all of the Masters receiving awards were very encouraging and
positive. They have worked so hard and accomplished so much, but each one is aware that
with every accomplishment comes a new beginning. There is always more to come. I as
particularly touched when James Glendenning received his certificate and plaque. He was so
appreciative of the recognition the Circle of Masters were giving him.
One thing that has stayed with me from that day is something that Grand Master McEaddy
said. It is something that I think is crucial to serious training. He said that,"It
is dangerous to train in other systems before you master yours". This seems like an
incredibly important thing to remember so as not to dilute the knowledge and skills that
we are gaining here with Phoenix Ninpo Ryu. It is a point I will not forget.
